A Note from Dr Takao Regarding Recent Events
To my Dear Patients and Parents of the Practice,
My wonderful, brave, beautiful wife died last year after a four year journey with cancer- I wish you all could have met her. Generous and loved by everyone, she was very special for she allowed me to practice the type of medicine I wanted: personal, one-on-one, and evidenced based. As most of you know, this took time and brought me home late most nights.
My family and friends have surrounded me with love and prayers. I feel so fortunate and grateful for the outpouring of support they have given me in the past week. We have many tasks to do and many boxes to check. The office staff has also shared your kind words and generous offers of support in the past few days. All of you wonderful parents and children are so thoughtful to worry about me. I am very lucky and I love you all.

COVID-19 Vaccine Information ages 6 months - 5 years
Starting June 2022, the COVID-19 vaccine will be made available to children ages 6 months. We endorse the administration of the vaccine, given its safety and efficacy. Due to storage and administration limitations, we will not be offering the COVID-19 vaccine in our office. We have listed suggested alternatives below.
